Another Record-Breaking Year of SATs Success Across Humber Education Trust

We are thrilled!

We are overjoyed to report yet another record-breaking year of SATs outcomes across our Trust, with results significantly exceeding national averages and demonstrating the continued impact of our collective commitment to providing the very best education for every child.

These outcomes are a powerful reflection of the tireless dedication of our staff, the support of our families and communities, alongside the incredible resilience, determination and hard work of our pupils. This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to our ongoing mission: ensuring that every child succeeds, achieves and takes pride in themselves and others – with a healthy dose of laughter and fun along the way!

Highlights from this year’s results:

HET Expected Standard Attainment

  • Reading: 86% (+3% compared to HET 2024-25)
  • Writing: 85% (+3% compared to HET 2024-25)
  • Mathematics: 88% (+2% compared to HET 2024-25)
  • 81% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Mathematics combined, compared with 63% nationally. This is the first time we have exceeded the 80% threshold, representing a 4% improvement on last year.
  • All 13 HET primary schools achieved outcomes above the national average in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and the combined measure.

More Reasons to Celebrate

  • Our disadvantaged pupils reached higher standards than non-disadvantaged pupils nationally for the third consecutive year*.
  • Disadvantaged pupils across HET attained 6 percentage points higher than non-disadvantaged pupils nationally*.
  • Although progress measures remain indicative at this stage, our initial analysis is extremely encouraging!

*Based on 2025 national data

These outcomes are about far more than data. They represent life chances, opportunities and futures. They demonstrate what can be achieved when talented staff work collaboratively across a Trust with a shared vision and relentless focus on excellence, equity and inclusion.

We remain steadfast in our ambition to improve the lives of children and young people. Together, we are proving that great things happen when we work as one Trust, sharing expertise, supporting one another and never losing sight of what matters most – where everybody counts, every moment matters.

Huge congratulations and thank you to every member of staff and every pupil across Humber Education Trust. This success belongs to all of you!
