A Fantastic Foundation for Future Success!

Exceptional Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) outcomes!
We are delighted to share some wonderful news as the Department for Education has now released the national Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) outcomes and there is so much to celebrate across Humber Education Trust!
Nationally, the proportion of children achieving a Good Level of Development (GLD) has increased from 68% to 72%. We are incredibly proud that, across our Trust, 76% of pupils achieved GLD, placing us above the national average and already surpassing the Government's ambition of 75% by 2028.
While these figures are a fantastic achievement, these outcomes represent far more than statistics; they reflect hundreds of children who are leaving Reception with greater confidence, curiosity and the readiness they need to thrive as they move into the next stage of their learning journey. Seeing so many of our youngest learners thriving is a source of enormous pride and optimism for everyone across our Trust.
These results are a testament to the dedication, expertise and steadfast commitment of our Early Years teams, school leaders, support staff, parents and carers. Together, they have created nurturing, inspiring environments where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn, giving every child the very best start to their education.
At Humber Education Trust, our mission is to improve the lives and life chances of the children and young people we serve. These results demonstrate that mission in action, ensuring more children begin their school career with strong foundations for future success and a lifelong love of learning.
Thank you to every member of staff, parent and carer who has played a part in this success. This is a celebration of what can be achieved when schools, families and communities work together with a shared commitment to helping every child thrive.
