Celebrating A Successful Trust-Wide Visioning Day With Trustees

Our Trustees recently took part in a Trust-wide Visioning Day and what a fantastic day it was!

Trustees play a vital leadership role in our organisation, generously giving their time voluntarily to support our mission: making a positive difference to the lives of every child and young person in our care. This special day gave them a chance to see that mission in action across our schools, where only our best is good enough.

The day began with an exciting visit to Ganton School, touring the impressive new mobile classroom block. This has created up to 30 additional SEND places, allowing pupils to thrive in a tailored environment and helping more families access the support they need.

Trustees also enjoyed time at Clifton Primary School spending time in the joyful EYFS department and the dedicated the EYFS SEND Hub. They also had the chance to see the recent improvements made to the pupil toilets – a significant upgrade contributing to pupil wellbeing.

Next was a stop at Broadacre Primary, where it was clear to see the newly refreshed vibrant EYFS unit is having a tangible impact on learning and development. Then it was on to Kingswood Park Primary where Trustees were delighted to see the fantastic new SEND Hub in action and hear from staff.

After a tasty lunch and time for reflection, Trustees spoke of being inspired by the environments they’d seen across the Trust - welcoming, purposeful, thought-provoking and inclusive; schools that enable every child to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The afternoon continued with a valuable session on the new Ofsted Framework providing food for thought, before the day continued with a fantastic tour of Parkstone Primary, ending with a Trustee Board meeting at the school.

Throughout the day, Trustees shared how warmly they had been welcomed and how deeply impressed they were by the passion and dedication of school leaders and staff. They praised the inclusive and ambitious culture being created for all pupils and noted how lucky our children are to have such committed and caring staff supporting them.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made the day possible and such a success. It was a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we work together with purpose – where everybody counts, every moment matters.
