Festive Flavours Dive Deep!

Chop & Change pupils from Ganton School serve up Christmas magic!
Chop & Change recently brought festive cheer to Hull with a special Christmas dinner service at The Deep, delivering a full three-course lunch prepared and served by our young people from Ganton School. Supported by hospitality professionals and volunteers, the event showcased incredible talent and teamwork.
ifty guests enjoyed a traditional Christmas menu in The Deep’s unique restaurant setting, while students gained invaluable real-world experience in a live hospitality environment planning, cooking and serving the meal.
Nine Chop & Change students took part, supported by the Chop & Change team, staff at The Deep and industry partners including Cranswick Foods. The event raised £1,000, which will be reinvested into the programme to fund future training, equipment and opportunities for students.
The festive menu featured roasted beetroot with whipped feta, a classic Christmas dinner and a mince pie brownie to finish, an excellent selection and celebration of seasonal flavours!
