Connecting over 1,200 Colleagues Across Humber Education Trust

We are really pleased to announce the successful launch of HET Hive, our new Trust-wide staff intranet.
At Humber Education Trust, people are at the heart of everything we do; fostering a strong sense of belonging and ensuring everyone feels part of one Trust community has always been incredibly important to us. As our Trust family has grown, so too has our commitment to keeping colleagues connected, informed and engaged, wherever they are based.
Following positive feedback from our recent staff survey, which demonstrated high levels of pride in working for Humber Education Trust, we identified an opportunity to further enhance how colleagues connect, communicate and celebrate success across the organisation. Therefore, we are really pleased to announce the successful launch of HET Hive, our new Trust-wide staff intranet.
HET Hive officially launched last week as a central digital hub where colleagues can access information, resources and support in one convenient place. The platform provides a modern, accessible space that enables staff to stay informed, share expertise and engage with wider Trust activity. More than simply an information repository, HET Hive has been designed to foster a greater sense of belonging and connection. The platform offers opportunities to celebrate achievements, showcase best practice, access resources, share news and recognise the incredible work taking place across our Trust every day.
The early response has been extremely encouraging. Within its first week, HET Hive has attracted more than 12,000 views, with colleagues spending an average of eight minutes on the homepage, demonstrating strong engagement with the platform and its content. HET Hive has also received full Trustee backing, who were given a tour of the intranet last week and now have access themselves. Their enthusiastic response further reinforces the value of the platform as a key tool for bringing colleagues, leaders and governance together across the Trust. Reflecting on the launch, leaders have described HET Hive as an important investment in people, communication and culture.
As Humber Education Trust continues to grow, HET Hive will play a key role in supporting colleague wellbeing, engagement and professional collaboration. The platform helps reinforce the values and culture that unite our Trust, helping colleagues to understand the important contribution they make to our collective vision of delivering exceptional education for children and young people.
A huge thank you goes to Paul Plumridge, Jo Lancaster, Laura Fillingham and Alan Clarke, whose collaboration, commitment and hard work have been instrumental in bringing HET Hive to life. From planning and development through to launch, the team ensured a smooth rollout of a platform that will support and connect colleagues across the Trust for years to come.
Where everybody counts, every moment matters.
